D.A's

I say stop worrying about all the illegal people in the USA and start worrying about all the D.A's we are raising here.

It had to be the fullest full moon ever because I had nothing but whacko's come into my lab. I think every D.A. in the world came in.

We had a customer come in who was picking up some send out orders from disposable camera's.
She asked to pay up front with her other purchases so we said OK, about 20 minutes later she comes back with some pictures and says, why are my three packages different dollar amounts. I explain to her that each order had a different amount of printable pictures and that she was charged according to the number of prints she received in each package. Then she insisted that she should be charged the same for each one because the camera's she bought were 27 exposures each. No matter what I did to explain it to her. She didn't get it. Then she says that 13 of her pictures in one package don't belong to her...she says these are all of a river boat ride in Cincinnati. i look at them and notice that her kid is in all the pictures and the rest of her family in some of the others, but dont say this too her yet. instead i say if you dont want them i can send them back and you only have to pay for the ones you keep. she said i want my pictures, i have 13 missing ones and these belong to someone else. So being the smart ass that I am...I say may I see your negatives. I said wait right here I will print these off for you here, and you can see if you recognize the people in them. So now the husband is like well I dont what good it will do, we said we've never been to Cincinnati. So i cant hold back any longer and say well how do you know this is Cincinnati if you have never been there before, and why are you, your wife and kids in all the pictures. the wife goes that's not us we've never been there. so i take the picture of the printer and said wow this is really weird cuz this family standing here under this welcome to Cincinnati sign sure looks like you guys...just think you have twins in Cincinnati, that is so awesome. they do say we all have a twin somewhere in the world, and we found yours. So now they are like you must have gone to Cincinnati and took pictures and just put our faces on these pictures. OK so then you are saying that the people in those pictures were you after all. We explained or tried to explain it is impossible for us to alter negatives. So I go to take back the pictures I printed off, for them to see and then she was like well I want that one in front of the hotel doors, we needed another copy of that one. Talk about a D.A she is the queen of them.

Then there was a guy who insisted I was the phone centre and not the photo centre. He wanted me to sell him a cell phone. he kept insisting my sign said phone and not photo.

We also had another lady trying to buy vel-crow. But wouldn't take what we had in the fabric department because she said everything to do with fabric means you have to sew it, tried to explain the package said it was sticky back...but she said it wasn't. Every package in front of us said sticky back, finally told her to go wait by the paint counter and I'd have one of the guys in hardware look in back for her and meet her. So just I handed one of the guys the Velcro from fabric department and told him to tell her it came from the hardware back room.

Also had a guy get mad cuz I told him we couldn't ring out all his food items. We're a photo lab we dont have a scale to weight stuff. And by ringing out your orders in photo we're doing them a favor because were in the back of the store and dont have to ring out anything but photo and electronic stuff.
